About The Miami Dirt

The stories behind the sunshine. The Miami Dirt is a Miami publication built for the outrageous, surprising, overlooked, and consequential true stories of Miami-Dade: strange incidents, business disputes, nightlife drama, inspection discoveries, neighborhood conflicts, questionable deals, and the stories hiding in public documents.

Miami's premier tabloid for the dirt in Miami. That is the job: the tabloid energy Miami deserves, run with a serious newsroom's discipline — documents first, names checked, receipts attached.

Our promise: Miami's wildest stories — we bring the receipts. Every material claim in our reporting is tied to a source readers can inspect: a filing, an inspection record, an official release, an agenda, a dataset. Originality comes from document analysis, interviews, and follow-up reporting, not from repeating rumor louder.

We do not claim to be the only publication covering Miami, the first to a story, or in possession of exclusives — unless we can prove it, in print, with the receipts attached.

The Masthead

Editor-in-ChiefDanny — every story that carries this paper's name crosses his desk before it publishes. Nothing goes out on a rumor; if it can't be documented, it doesn't run.
PublisherKing Bull Ventures — an independent Miami publisher. The Dirt answers to its readers and its records, in that order.
The NewsroomThe Miami Dirt newsroom — reporters and researchers credited honestly on every story, never invented.

Coverage Area

Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Wynwood, Downtown, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Kendall, Aventura, North Miami, and surrounding Miami-Dade communities — with Broward and Palm Beach stories when there is a strong Miami connection. We name municipalities and agencies correctly: Miami Beach is not the City of Miami, Coral Gables has its own police, and county records are county records.

Status

The Miami Dirt is in pre-launch at its permanent home, themiamidirt.com — first editions are in editorial review and demo articles are labeled previews, not real news. No audience numbers exist yet, and we will not invent any. Our newsroom masthead grows only with real people; until then, stories carry an honest newsroom attribution.
