Corrections
We correct the record in the open. Material corrections appear prominently on the original article, in its correction history, and — for newsletter stories — in the next edition of The Daily Dirt. Corrections and case outcomes are always free to read.

Mugshot Removal Policy
Removal is free. Always. The Miami Dirt never charges a fee to remove a mugshot — Florida law prohibits publishers from charging for mugshot removal, and we would not charge if it didn't. If your booking photo appears in Mugshots of the Day, you can have it taken down:
- Send a written request — the correction form below, or email via our Contact page — with your name, the booking number or story link, and (if you have it) documentation of a dismissal, expungement, or sealed record.
- The photo and story come off the public site within 10 days of your written request — in practice the desk acts the same day a request is verified.
- Expunged or sealed records are removed immediately on notice, no documentation debate.
- Case dismissed, charges dropped, or found not guilty? Send the outcome and we will also add it to the story prominently if you prefer an update over removal — your choice, either way it is free.
Everyone pictured in Mugshots of the Day is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. An arrest is not a conviction, and a booking photo is not evidence of guilt.
